the reason the date is important is because it is the starting date for jw chronology which leads to 1914 as the end of the gentile times, and the beginning of the last days, as jws understand it.

What stood out to me in reading Jonsson’s original treatise was not necessarily that he was trying to refute WT, but as a loyal member he was trying to correct information he found to be incorrect and misleading. It sounded like he was genuinely concerned and felt WT could benefit from such information.

It's a tactic- his way of having something to respond with when people start asking questions. He will try to dismiss his critics by claiming that they're defendants in a criminal suit.
It’s the same tactic he uses/used with Dijana. He tries to force either an admission of wrongdoing or an apology as a means to dismiss everything that person says. Then he paints what he did as either equal to or usually lesser than the infraction committed against him.
It’s like a point system in his twisted mind. He pulled it all the time while he was here. He would bring up what you said in a previous thread against you in another one as proof positive you are not to be listened to.
His few apologies are always conditional:
He’s sorry, but…
- He is also owed an apology
- You or someone else did something worse
- People should go to these other parties and demand apologies
- He really thinks this doesn’t merit an apology and somehow he was forced into doing it or had altruistic reasons for doing it. But he’ll apologise anyway because he’s such a caring person.
- When he apologises it wipes his slate clean and nothing relating to that can ever be brought up again because of the apology. An apology from you doesn’t wipe your slate clean, in fact it magnifies what you did and he will keep reminding everyone of your infraction against him.

I think it was LMSA that said we should expect this, and it is now happening.
He’s trying to poison the well with his new recruits so that when they come in contact with contrary information, they will be conditioned to immediately dismiss it because it is “criminal”.
He did the same with Dijana, acting like she broke a legal agreement between the two when she backed out of the open marriage.
All intended to manipulate people into accepting his twisted version of the facts as if they are the truth.

He’s threatening people as “criminal defendants” again.
“Eventually be served”. Important to highlight to people that THIS is what they are paying for. A sad and deluded man’s Quixotic quest to get his name cleared in the courts.
And he deserves to be kicked down and have all of this rubbed into his fat face when it fails.

There are some really mentlaly ill people
This is what Lloyd Evans does to people.
There is a dark cloud following this man around and it envelops anyone getting near.
I believe it is too late for his wife as no one can take that kind of abuse for years and emerged unscathed. She’ll be traumatised for life.
So will his children if she lets him play any meaningful role in their lives.
She’s the only one who can protect them from this dark cloud. First she needs to recognise there is no fixing Lloyd Evans. Once she figures this out, she’ll know exactly what to do.
